DAY 1:  FLY TO ANCHORAGE:

DAY 2:  VALDEZ:

This morning we board our motor coach and travel to Valdez. We drive through the Matanuska Susitna Valley where world record monster vegetables grow in the 24 - hour daylight. We stop at Worthington Glacier and arrive in Valdez early this evening. Valdez is nicknamed “Alaska’s Little Switzerland”. Best Western Valdez or similar, Valdez, AK(B)

DAY 3: PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND CRUISE:

Today,  enjoy the Valdez Museum before we board a Glacier & Wildlife Cruise and travel through the majestic Prince William Sound. We see the mighty Columbia Glacier and hear tales told by the Alaskan Crew. We look for seals, sea lion, otters, whales, and puffins throughout the half - day exploration cruise. DAY 4:  FAIRBANKS:

This morning we journey by coach north to Fairbanks, known to Alaskans as the Golden Heart City. The route takes us along Wrangell - St Elias National Park,  the largest park in the United States. River’s Edge Cottages or simila r- Fairbanks, AK (B).

DAY 5:  RIVER BOAT DISCOVERY CRUISE:

This morning we tour Fairbanks with an included visit to the Museum of the North. We cruise the Chena River aboard the grand stern wheeler River boat Discovery III and learn about Alaska Native Culture at an Athabaskan Indian Village. This evening we enjoy a traditional salmon bake dinner. River’s Edge Cottages or similar, Fairbanks, AK (B,D).

DAY 6: DENALI NATIONAL PARK:

The scenery continues to astound as we make our way south to Denali National Park. A free afternoon at Denali to experience the many optional attractions here. This evening we enjoy the fun at the Denali Dinner Theatre. Gizzly Bear Resort or similar, Denali National Park, AK (B,D)

DAY 7:  DENALI NATIONAL PARK:

DAY 8;  ANCHORAGE:

This morning we board our motor coach and drive through incredible scenery to Talkeetna where we have  time to explore this quaint Alaskan town. This afternoon we board the world -  famous Alaska Railroad for the scenic trip to Anchorage. As we travel in spacious deluxe dome rail cars along the Susitna River, we may catch a glimpse of majestic Denali ( formerly Mt. Mckinley).  Crowne Plaza or similar, Anchorage, AK (B).

DAY 9:  ANCHORAGE:

DAY 10:  FLY HOME:

DAY 3:  YELLOWSTONE:

Travel onboard a private chartered snow coach through Yellowstone National Park. DAY 4:  ELK  REFUGE - JACKSON:

Enjoy a beautiful winter day in this city at the base of the rugged Teton Mountains. Today you are in for a fantastic winter experience. Just a couple of miles north of Jackson  is the National  ELK Refuge, winter home for thousands of these majestic animals. This morning get a close - up view as you take a horse drawn sleigh ride right into the massive herd on the Elk Refuge. Your sleigh driver and guide will explain how the settling of the Jackson valley affected the elk herd winter migration and why the refuge now plays an important role in their survival. After a unique experience, visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art. With collections of nearly twenty - three hundred works of wildlife art, the Museum strives to enrich and inspire appreciation of art and humanity’s relationship with nature. Today, travel along the west side of the Teton Range through Island Park on the famed Henry’s Fork River. After a rest stop in West Yellowstone, enter Yellow Stone National Park to witness an eruption of Old Faithful, before seeing more of the geyser basins including Fountain Paint Pots. DAY3:  YELLOW STONE WILDLIFE SAFARI:

Today, tour the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center with a naturalist guide. This afternoon, break into small groups and depart on a Yellow Stone Wildlife Safari.

Travel through Norris Geyser Basin and Mammoth Hotsprings followed by the Lamar Valley for a picnic dinner. Using high - quality optics, explore the Lamar Valley in the evening when animals are most active. DAY 4: YELLOW STONE -  GRAND TETON:

DAY 4: DEAD HORSE POINT AND ARCHES NATIONAL PARK:

DAY -6: MOAB TO BRYCE CANYON;

      Explore Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch,  the window section,  and other areas. After lunch, explore Arches further and also enjoy a scenic drive/hike along the Colorado River showcasing ancient petroglyphs depicting animals, humans, and geometrick pattern carved onto red-rock walls.  DAY-3: CANYONLANDS AND CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARKS;

       Explore other regions of Canyonlands and then travel over to Capitol Reef National Park. Enroute, visit one of our hidden  gems, Goblin Valley State Park. After lunch, continue onto Capitol Reef. Explore the water pocket Fold which is Capitol Reef's most distinctive feature. Millions of years of erosion contributed to the 100 - mile - long monocline's twisting Canyons , arches, and domes. Afterwards, continue to Capitol Reef Resort for  a relaxing  evening. DAY-4: CAPITOL REEF AND BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARKS;

      This morning, hike to the Hickman  Bridge,  a 133 - foot natural bridge,  or go down  to the Grand Wash to explore the Park's deep canyons and narrows. Explore other areas within the Park. Afterwards traverse the canyons of Escalante on Highway 12 to Bryce Canyon National Park. Visit a few areas of the park before checkling in for the night at the Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel. DAY-5:  BRYCE CANYON AND ZION NATIONAL PARKS;

      Our favourite part of this park is the ability to rise early to watch the sunrise over Bryce from one of its many viewpoints. Enjoy thr ethereal red - and - white hoodoos rise from the canyon floor in many different shapes and sizes. Those who are physically capable can descend into tha canyon to walk amid the alien Landscape. Drive from Bryce Canyon to Zion along scenic Highway12, which zips past red – rock mountains and yawning slot Canyons.  Hike the East Canyon Overlook Trail fo a bird’s eye view of the canyon or enjoy the scenic drive into the canyon. DAY-6:  ZION NATIONAL PARK TO SALT LAKE CITY, UT:

      Today,  explore the red - and - white monoliths towering above Zion’s main canyon, which drops to a depth of 3000 feet in southwestern Utah. Traverse the 3 - mile Emerald Pools loop to see a trio of pools and waterfalls or hike and explore the Narrows of the Virgin River or Angels landing. Once finished, travel north to Salt Lake City and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Return to Salt Lake City by 6 pm  (B,L).

DAY -4; ARCHES

Then travel on scenic Hwy 12, considered one of the most spectacular drives in North America . You will traverse Grand Staircase – Esclante National  Monument on your way to Bryce Canyon. We visit "Miss Laura's Social Club",  serving as Fort Smith's Visitor's Center; the only former bordello on the National Register of Historic places. She will personally give the tour of this fully restored victorian mansion. Later, take a driving tour of the historic district with a guide, ride an electric trolley and enjoy sodas at the Soda Fountain.               After breakfast, take a driving tour of Fort Smith's newest attraction, Murals. Lunch on own in downtown Bentonville follows. DAY -1 : Arrive in the Detroit area and check into your hotel. This afternoon, enjoy a Detroit Sculpture / Architecture tour and walk along the river front before having dinner next to the Detroit River. Ovenight at the Best Western Greenfield Inn (D).

DAY-2; After an included breakfast at your hotel, depart for  Grand Rapids,   Michigan. Your first stop is at the Grand Rapids Museum of Art. Experience the museum’s collections and stunning exhibitions with a guided tour. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and visit Frederik Meijer Gardens. Experience a guided tram ride of the outdoor gardens and exhibits featuring blossoming chrysanthemums and more! Dinner is included  tonight at a local restaurant and you will have the option of visiting Founders Brewery this evening before heading back to your hotel. Overnight at the Country Inn & Suites Grand Rapids (B,L,D).

DAY-3: Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning. Visit the Gerald Ford Museum in Downtown Grand Rapids. Experience highlights from President and Mrs. Ford’s lives and see some of the included pieces in Artprize. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Downtown Market. This afternoon, you will have opportunity to explore the works of art featured in Art Prize all around the downtown area. Art Prize is an, independently organized international art competition which takes  place annually each fall that features over 1,500 pieces of art throughout the city. This is definitely an experience you will not want to miss ! This evening, make your way back to the Detroit area and overnight at the Best Western  Greenfield Inn (B,D).

DAY- 4: This morning, visit the Detroit Parade Company and take a journey through the unique creative kingdom that creates floats and other pieces for the annual Detroit Thanksgiving Parade. Marvel at the world’s largest collection of papier – mache heads that resemble local icons and famous characters. Enjoy lunch at a local favorite restaurant and visit the exquisite watch company – Shinola Detroit. This afternoon, you will have the opportunity to make your own tile at the world - renown Pewabic Pottery. Enjoy a visit to Belle Isle and have dinner on your own in Greektown in Downtown Detroit. Overnight at the Best Western Greenfield Inn (B,L).

DAY-5;  Today you will visit two true gems of Detroit – the Detroit Institute of Arts and the Detroit Historical Museum. Enjoy a special star wars costume Exhibit at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Clothing and gear for characters ranging from Darth Vader, Princess Leia and Storm Troopers to Chewbacca, Hansolo and droids (including C -3PO and R2-D2)  wil be part of the “star wars” and the power of costume'  exhibit . This evening, after dinner, you will have the option to see a Broadway performance at one of the theatres in Downtown Detroit.  Overnight at the Best Western Green field Inn (B,D).

DAY-6: This morning, visit one of the oldest  and most beautiful churches in Detroit dating back to the 1700’s. Tour the Heidelberg project, an outdoor art environment in the heart of an urban area and a Detroit based community organization with  a mission to improve the lives of people and neighborhoods through art. Enjoy lunch inside of a beautiful historic mansion in Downtown Detroit. This afternoon, you will   have  the option of visiting the world - renowned Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield village before heading back home. (B,L).

DAY - 3; SKUNK TRAIN :

Board the Skunk Train for a scenic ride through the redwoods of California. Then travel south into wine country and stop in Healdsburg for touring a local winery. Best Western plus Dry Creek Inn, Healdsburg, CA (C,B,L).

DAY- 4; NAPA VALLEY WINE TRAIN – SAN FRANCISCO

 DAY - 5:  ROARING CAMP RAILROAD – MONTEREY

Today visit Railtown 1897 State Historical Park. Known as “The Movie Rail Road,”  its historic locomotives and cars have starred in hundreds of film and TV productions.
