The region is a tourism hub in Africa because of a number of attractions that can be found in the different countries of the Region.<\/p>\n

\"Burundi\"Burundi<\/a>:<\/strong> Geographically, at the heart of Africa, Burundi\u2019s beautiful landscape, great national parks and lush forests are an ideal destination. The drummers of Burundi produce a hypnotic and unique sound sure to stay in the hearts of the listeners. Burundi is home to the longest freshwater lake in the world (Lake Tanganyika and the source of the Nile. Walking around the country\u2019s living museum in Bujumbura and the beautiful Karera falls is an enriching experience.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/u><\/strong><\/u>Kenya<\/a> <\/strong>amazes all who visit with its variety of Safaris and coastal treasures. These range from wildlife reserves, indigenous cultures and geological wonders not easily found elsewhere in Africa. DRC hosts Africa\u2019s largest expanse of tropical forest that includes seven (7) national parks and 57 reserves areas with huge potential for ecotourism. DRC has four endemic species including Mountain Gorillas, Okapi (Forest giraffe), Bonobos and the Congolese peacock. \"\"Somalia:<\/a><\/strong> The EAC\u201d newest member, On 24th<\/sup> November 2023, Somalia was officially admitted as the eighth (8th<\/sup>) member to the East African Community (EAC), nearing to a successful climax an aspiration that began more than a decade ago. The membership will become official once Somalia\u2019s Federal Parliament ratifies the Treaty of Accession. Somalia is known for its long coastline, beaches, waterfalls, mountain ranges, national parks, and a long list of numerous historical sites drawing both foreign and domestic tourists. Somalia is home to several species of wildlife and vast wilderness and mountains. <\/strong><\/p>\n
